Kazakhstan won a historic medal in archery

The Kazakhstan national team won a bronze medal at the World Archery Championships, currently taking place in the South Korean city of Gwangju.

In the women’s team compound event, Adel Zheksenbinova, Viktoriya Lyan, and Roksana Yunussova defeated Great Britain in the bronze medal match with a score of 232–228.

It is worth noting that prior to this achievement, Kazakhstan’s archers had won only one World Championship medal - in 1993, Yana Tuniyants claimed a medal in the recurve event.
