Kazakhstan’s Archers Continue Their Preparation for the Asian Games in Almaty Region

The National Archery Team of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues its intensive preparation for the 20th Asian Games.

The national team’s current training camp is being held at the Olympic Training Center in the Almaty Region. The camp is scheduled from August 19 to September 4, during which the athletes are carrying out comprehensive preparations for the upcoming Asian Games and focusing on improving their technical and tactical skills.

The main goal of the camp is to bring the athletes’ pre-competition preparation to a high level, stabilize their sporting form, and ensure the necessary level of readiness to represent Kazakhstan with honor at the continent’s major sporting event.

During the training sessions, special attention is paid to shooting technique, accuracy, consistency, psychological readiness in competitive situations, and physical fitness. The coaching staff is also analyzing each athlete’s individual performance indicators and working on competition strategies.

Following the training camp in the Almaty Region, the Kazakhstan national team will continue the next stage of its preparation in South Korea. The training camp in Korea will provide the athletes with valuable international experience and an opportunity to train alongside some of Asia’s strongest archers.

The national team’s main goal is to raise the flag of Kazakhstan high and achieve strong results at the 20th Asian Games.

The 20th Asian Games will be held from September 19 to October 4, 2026, in Aichi–Nagoya, Japan. The archers representing Kazakhstan are continuing their preparations to proudly defend the country’s honor at the continental competition.

The athletes now face the final stages of preparation ahead of this important event. For every member of the national team, each training camp is an important step on the road to the main competition.
