KAZAKHSTAN’S NATIONAL ARCHERY TEAM PREPARES FOR THE ASIAN CUP

Kazakhstan’s national archery team is continuing its preparations for the Asian Cup, which will be held in Iraq. To ensure thorough preparation for the upcoming international competition, the national team is holding a training camp from October 14 to 22, 2026, at the Olympic Training Centre in Kaskelen, Almaty Region.

The training camp aims to strengthen the national team’s competition readiness and help athletes reach optimal sporting form. Training sessions place particular emphasis on physical and technical preparation, improving target accuracy, enhancing movement stability, and strengthening psychological resilience.

Preparing for International Competition

Achieving high results in archery requires not only technical proficiency but also concentration, composure, and the ability to perform consistently under competitive pressure. Therefore, alongside improving individual preparation, the training camp places particular emphasis on refining athletes’ tactical approaches during competition.

The preparation period in Almaty Region allows members of the national team to structure their training process and develop the competitive form needed for the upcoming events.
