A new President of the Archery Federation has been appointed in Karaganda Region.

In Karaganda Region, in the city of Karaganda, a meeting of the Archery Federation was held with the support of the President of the National Archery Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Yesentaiuly Usymbekov.

The event was attended by the Head of the Regional Sports Department Nurken Kanatuly and the Executive Director of the National Archery Federation of Kazakhstan Yedil Kunanbayuly. Participants and the newly appointed federation president were wished success in their future work.

During the meeting, key priorities were outlined regarding the development of archery in the region, support for athletes, and the preparation of competitive archers for international competitions.

Serikzhan Mergalymuly Mergenbayev was appointed as the new President of the Karaganda Region Archery Federation.

Serikzhan Mergalymuly Mergenbayev graduated from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and Turan-Astana University with degrees in World Economy, Construction, and Law.

Currently, he serves as the head of the construction company KZ Stroy Expert LLP and also holds the position of Deputy Head of the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan.
